Focaccia Dipping Oil/Herb Mix

A delicious blend of herbs perfect for dipping warm artisan breads.
Ingredients
  • 1 Tbsp. dried minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. dried rosemary, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp. dried oregano
  • 2 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. coarsely ground pepper
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients.
  2. Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place for up to 6 months.
  3. When ready to serve, combine 4 teaspoons herb mix with 1 tablespoon water in a microwave-safe bowl.
  4. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 10-15 seconds.
  5. Drain excess water and add ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper.
  6. Transfer to a shallow serving plate; add ½ cup olive oil and stir.
  7. Yield: ¼ cup
